We Run
The Room.
Sound, lighting, and full production for Black Hills weddings and events. We talk to you before we touch a single fader — because no two events should feel the same.
What We Do
Production Services
We run sound and lighting for weddings, corporate events, worship nights, and private receptions across the Black Hills and beyond.
DJ Services
Custom playlists built around your event — not a preset. We talk through your timeline, your vibe, and your do-not-play list before we touch a fader.
Ceremony Audio
Clean, reliable audio from prelude through recessional. Wireless mics for your officiant, a PA sized to your venue, and zero surprises on your ceremony day.
Reception Audio
Full sound reinforcement for receptions of any size — barn weddings, hotel ballrooms, outdoor venues. We scale the rig to the room.
Dance Lighting
Intelligent LED uplighting, moving heads, and color-wash systems. The lighting shifts with the moment — cocktail hour feels different than 11pm on the dance floor.
Truss & Staging
Custom truss builds that give your production structure — overhead lighting with a professional anchor, not equipment sitting on the floor.
Photo Booths
Open-air photo booth with a digital gallery. Guests use it all night. You get every photo after.
Livestreaming
Multi-camera livestream for ceremonies and services. Remote guests get a real production feed, not a phone propped on a chair.
Church & Worship
Production support for worship nights, church events, and ministry gatherings. We understand the flow because we've been part of it.

How We Work
Built Around Your Event.
Not The Last One.
Every event we produce starts with a conversation — because no two events should feel the same.
A barn wedding in the Black Hills feels different than a hotel ballroom reception. An outdoor ceremony in July has different needs than a worship night in February. We ask the right questions before we show up, so the production fits what you're actually doing.
We read the room all night. We're not running a preset and hoping it works.
01
We talk through your event
Timeline, venue, vibe, guests — we want to understand the day before we plan the production.
02
We build the production around it
Equipment, crew, setup — configured for your specific event, not a template.
03
We show up early and run it clean
Setup is done before your first guest arrives. You don't think about the production once it's running.
Starting Points
Packages
These are built around real events we run. Each one is a starting point — we customize every production to the event, not the other way around.
Ceremony Essentials
Built for couples who need professional audio from prelude to recessional and nothing more. We handle the sound system, the wireless mic for your officiant, and all the music cues that make the ceremony flow — so you're not thinking about any of it when you walk down the aisle.
Right for: Intimate ceremonies where the priority is clean audio and a great soundtrack, without a full reception build.
Wedding Production Package
Ceremony through last dance, under one crew. We run your ceremony audio, cover cocktail hour, then build into a full reception with DJ, sound reinforcement, and a dance lighting package. Most couples planning a full reception with dancing end up here — it handles the day from start to finish without stitching together multiple vendors.
Right for: Full-day weddings where you want one experienced team on-site, start to finish.
Premium Production Experience
For larger weddings or couples who want the full build. Expanded lighting, a second technician on-site, truss and rigging, a photo booth, and the ability to cover multiple venue spaces in a single day. This is the production that makes a large room feel intentional — not just loud.
Right for: Larger events, multiple spaces, or any wedding where the production itself is part of the experience.
All packages are customized to the event — scope, equipment, and crew. Reach out and we'll work through the details.

Who We Are
Built on Live Production
Brink Productions was built on professional audio and visual production — roots in live events, church AV, and the kind of work where getting the details right isn't optional.
We bring that same technical standard to every wedding, corporate event, school dance, and worship night we run. Professional-grade equipment, experienced operators, and an approach that starts with your event and works backward from there.
We've run productions in barns, hotel ballrooms, outdoor venues, and churches across the Black Hills and western South Dakota. We know the venues, the conditions, and what it takes to run a clean show in any of them.

The production supports your event.
It doesn't compete with it.
FAQ
Common Questions
How far in advance should I book a wedding DJ in Rapid City?
We recommend booking 9–12 months in advance for peak wedding season dates (May–October). Popular Black Hills venues fill up fast, and locking in your production team early gives us time to plan every detail of your day. That said, reach out regardless — we may have availability for your date.
Do you travel outside of Rapid City?
Yes. Travel is included within 60 miles of Rapid City at no extra charge. For events beyond that radius — throughout the Black Hills, Wyoming, or western Nebraska — a travel fee applies. Give us a call and we'll work out the details for your specific venue.
Can you handle outdoor ceremonies?
Absolutely. We regularly support outdoor ceremonies at ranches, parks, and open-air venues throughout the Black Hills. We bring a self-contained PA system sized to your space and our setup is weather-aware. We've done everything from intimate meadow ceremonies to large hillside celebrations.
What music genres do you play?
All of them. We work from a customizable playlist built around your tastes — Top 40, country, classic rock, hip-hop, jazz, latin, you name it. You set the vibe and we keep it flowing. You can also give us a do-not-play list, and we'll honor it without question.
What does the deposit cover and what are the payment terms?
A 50% deposit is required to hold your date — this confirms our commitment to your event. The remaining balance is due before the event day. All terms are outlined clearly in your contract before you sign.
Can you coordinate with our venue and other vendors?
Yes — we do it all the time. We're happy to connect with your venue coordinator, photographer, or planner to sync timelines and logistics. Good vendor communication is part of how we make sure your day runs clean.
